Dental Scaling without anesthesia sounds like a safer way to have your pets teeth cleaned right? WRONG! According to the American Veterinary Dental College, most of these procedures are considered Non-Professional Dental Scalings (NPDS) because they are often done by individuals who are not veterinarians or supervised and trained technicians.
